You’re going to go back to the basics. Somewhere between 2018-2022, marketing your business in “little squares” was theeee thing to do.

Reach was amazing. Hashtags still existed. People left real comments on posts. (Not just “LINK” when they wanted more info sent to them). Those were the good ‘ole days.

You don’t need to consumer more content about how to increase your reach to *actually* increase your reach.

Seriously. Stop it. Your screenshots folder is overflowing with tips, tricks, hacks, and resets you don’t have the bandwidth to implement.

It’s hard not to feel like the social media algorithm is the evil stepmother when you’re Cinderella.

You spend more time creating content than you’d like to admit. The algorithm is finicky. You never know if it’s going to be a good day or a bad day on the internet.

IF you post a 90-second reel, your followers will see it. IF you experiment with trial reels, your content will get pushed to people who don’t follow you. IF you let your stories expire after 24 hours, you’ll make more sales. If...if...IF!

Hi, I’m Alexa — and I’m tired of how fast social media moves. 

True story - this is how creating content on social media felt for me.

Social media, social media.  

Night and day, it’s social media.  

Plan the content, film the content.  

And the editing and the posting.  

I’m always always working. 

At first, I thought it was a “me” problem.

Other creators and business owners don’t seem to be burnt out with social media? Do they know something I don’t? This is how I grow my audience and my business? You’re telling me I have to do this forever? 

Maybe not.  

As a natural learner, experimenter, and lover of systems (I was an engineer in a past life), I dove deep into the world of content, marketing, and social media.

Even going as far as (briefly) working for a social media marketing agency. No... I wasn’t a mole, but it does sound like that now, doesn’t it? I figured out the secret though.  

There’s no “right” way to market your brand or business through content. There are *different* ways. 

As a business owner, I didn’t want to be “always always working” on social media content. I found what works for me and my clients. It will work for you too.
